This zinc selenide extended range UHV viewport is of infrared(IR) grade and has good transmission in the visible and excellent transmission through 20 microns in the infrared. The standard UHV mount is a 1.33 inch Conflat flange made of 304 stainless steel. The threaded mount mates with safety cover and protective cap using the SM05 Lens Tube System*. A transparent 6mm thick polycarbonate protective cover is available for safe viewing while the primary ZnSe window is not in service. It may also be purchased with a protective anodized aluminum cap for greater thermal uniformity during bake-out.
